The Deptford Journey is a collaborative audio piece developed with curator Jason Waite.

It is a participatory narrative that invites the listener to choose among the stories presented on the locality and form their own truth. The stories are of past events, current inhabitants, and our subjective perceptions, illustrated the layers of identity embedded in the public space.

The Deptford Journey is set in Deptford (New Cross, London) and intertwines the history of the area, with the personal and political interests and past and future projects of piece’s originators.
